Service Cancellation, Refund and Payment Policy

This Policy governs payments, cancellations, refunds, booking changes, and related matters for products and services offered by TED Optimus Sdn Bhd (“TED Optimus”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through https://academy.thetradewizard.com and related channels. 

By purchasing, booking, subscribing to, or using any TED Optimus product or service, you agree to this Policy. 

1. Payment Terms 

All products, services, bookings, subscriptions, seminars, programs, software access, and digital access purchased from TED Optimus are subject to payment through the payment methods made available by us, including credit card, debit card, online payment methods, or such other methods as we may approve. 

Payment cards are subject to validation checks and authorization by your card issuer or payment provider. If the required authorization is not received, TED Optimus shall not be liable for any delay, failed booking, failed access, or non-delivery of the relevant product or service. Unless otherwise stated, all prices and fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, levies, charges, or other government-imposed amounts, all of which shall be borne by you. 

2. General Non-Refundability 

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by TED Optimus, all payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable to other persons, products, services, dates, or events. 

This general rule is consistent with the refund structure in your pasted policy content and the uploaded cancellation/refund sample.  

3. Cancellation of Service Bookings 

Customers may cancel a service booking within 24 hours of making the reservation without penalty, unless the relevant service, event, product type, or booking is expressly stated to be non-refundable or non-cancellable. 

If cancellation occurs more than 24 hours after booking, TED Optimus reserves the right to impose a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the total service cost, or such other reasonable administrative or processing charge as may apply to the relevant service. This clause comes from the uploaded cancellation/refund template and has been adapted into formal policy language.  

4. Refund Eligibility 

Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances: 

- Cancellation is made within the allowable cancellation period, where such cancellation right applies; 

- Duplicate or multiple payments were made for the same product or service; 

- The product, service, seminar, program, booking, or subscription is cancelled or discontinued by TED Optimus; 

- TED Optimus determines, in its sole discretion, that a refund is appropriate under exceptional circumstances. 

Refunds, where approved, will be processed back to the original method of payment where reasonably possible within 30 business days after the refund is approved.  

5. Non-Refundable Products and Services 

The following are strictly non-refundable and non-deferrable unless TED Optimus states otherwise in writing: 

- Ticket purchases; 

- Booking purchases; 

- Digital products; 

- Downloadable materials; 

- Dubscriptions once activated; 

- Doftware access once granted; 

- Deminars, programs, or events expressly sold as non-refundable; 

- Any service already delivered, commenced, consumed, or substantially performed. 

This is based on both your pasted wording and the uploaded cancellation/refund file.  

6. Changes to Reservations or Service Dates 

Requests to change reservation dates or times may be accommodated depending on availability and TED Optimus’ approval. 

Such requests should be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time, seminar, or program commencement date. Additional charges may apply for changes requested outside this timeframe or where rebooking costs arise. This structure comes from the uploaded service policy template and your pasted text on seminar changes. 

 

7. Seminar / Program Transfers 

For seminars, training sessions, or similar programs, if you are unable to attend, you should notify TED Optimus at least 48 hours before the commencement date. 

Subject to availability and TED Optimus’ approval, you may be allowed to: 

- Transfer to another date for a similar seminar or program; or 

- Transfer the booking to another participant. 

8. Transaction Charges 

Unless otherwise required by law, transaction fees, payment gateway charges, credit card charges, administrative fees, currency conversion charges, and other non-recoverable processing costs are not refundable or reversible. 

9. No Guarantee of Results 

By purchasing or using TED Optimus products or services, you expressly agree that all risks arising from the use of our products and services shall be borne by you. 

TED Optimus does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free access, or any specific outcome, performance, result, trading gain, or financial outcome arising from the use of our products or services. 

10. Modifications to Products, Services and Prices 

TED Optimus reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or revise any product, service, feature, pricing, or content. 

TED Optimus shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, discontinuance, or withdrawal of any product or service. 

11. Process for Cancellation or Refund Requests 

To request a cancellation, booking change, or refund review, you must contact TED Optimus and provide sufficient details for us to identify your order, booking, or account.
